Disciples of the ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) sect called "Hare Krishna" are invited to buy offerings for their only god Krishna at the very entrance of the temple. After going around the statues of Krishna, they gather in the middle of the temple to sing and dance. A young disciple with skin and bones exhausts himself in jumps to the rhythm of the notes. A strictly vegetarian diet and a lifestyle detached from material goods are prescribed to them. However, at the back of the temple, you can spend your rupees lavishly on objects of worship.
